If three is one thing that James Gunn does with excellence, it is putting heart into action films. Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy and now Superman. It would not be hard to imagine that the success around the dog featured in Guardians 3 had some impact on the decision to put a dog in Superman.
Not just a cute dog, but a super dog and even without the dog the film is set to break records and to re-invent the DC brand.
There are so far, a handful of films that I am super excited for, Superman, 28 Years later, How to Train your dragon, M3gan 2.0 and Jurassic World Rebirth. There may be others as their trailers grip me or they preview. So far I have my big 5, takes me to mid July.
